Roslyn Dundas MLA Australian Democrats, is a Member of the ACT Legislative Assembly representing the electorate of Ginninderra. At 23 she was the youngest woman ever elected to an Australian parliament. Roslyn has been an active participant in the student movement holding the position of General Secretary at the Australian National University Student's Association as well as working for 3 years in the student media, and serving as a member of the National Union of Students' National Women's Committee. With an active commitment to community organisations Roslyn has in the past served in a voluntary capacity as a member of the ACT Council Of Social Services (ACTCOSS) General Committee, Board Member of the Women's Centre for Health Matters ACT, and National President of the Young Australian Democrats. Ms Dundas is a member and supporter of the Women's Electoral Lobby, the Youth Council of the ACT and the YWCA. Prior to her election Roslyn worked as a trade union organiser with the Community and Public Sector Union.
