Vicki Grieves, Aboriginal historian, lectures within Wollotuka School of Aboriginal Studies at the University of Newcastle. She is descended from the Worimi - Gattang in the Port Stephens, Great lakes and manning River area of New South Wales and is currently researching her family history towards a PhD through the Macquarie University. Vicki has had twenty years experience working on Aboriginal programs within universities, with public policy initiatives and at Aboriginal community level.
