Dianne Proctor has been CEO of ARHA since its establishment in 1995. Prior to that, Dianne was employed by Family Planning Australia. Dianne has been active in the non-government sector for many years and has a strong commitment to women's issues, having first become involved in the second wave of feminism in the USA in the late 1960s.

Dianne was a NGO representative on the Australian Government Delegation to the UN International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo in 1994 and in her current position, is responsible for the advocacy and policy role within the organisation.
