Lorna Sisley, OBE was born in 1916 in Wangaratta and educated at Wangaratta High School and Methodist Ladies College in Melbourne.

Lorna was a Consultant Surgeon at Monash Medical Centre from 1981. Lorna was Founder and Consultant Surgeon Breast Clinic, Monash Medical Centre, 1979.

Among other activites she was a Member of the Anti-Cancer Council 1964-81. She was an RMO at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne 1942-44.
